Hi, I'm Luyao Niu, a Master's student at Peking University focused on Smart Cities and Big Data. Building on a Bachelor's degree in Transportation Engineering from Beijing Jiaotong University, my research lies at the intersection of artificial intelligence, urban mobility.

My work centers on developing novel frameworks for intelligent transportation systems. I specialize in leveraging Large Language Models (LLMs), causal inference, and deep learning for spatio-temporal traffic forecasting and behavior analysis. My research has been published in leading venues, including the prestigious journal Transportation Research Part C and the flagship IEEE GlobeCom 2025 conference (Oral Presentation).
